The Sony KV-1917 is a vintage 19" color television introduced in 1983. The exterior boasts a quintessential early-1980s aesthetic, complete with a dark glass faceplate, mechanical controls, and a classic faux-woodgrain cabinet. Because it was engineered entirely before digital OSD menus, collectors must calibrate picture geometry and color balance manually using physical potentiometers inside the chassis.
